LEOS International’s £25m development of Luton’s Old Courthouse into 97 contemporary one- and two-bedroom apartments has been completed on schedule.
The development is topped with a modern roof addition that incorporates the building’s original curved brick façade and adds a floor.
In order to give buyers a high-quality yet relatively affordable residence, the residential units are designed to maximize space, light, and comfort.
The project also includes 30 parking spots and seven cutting-edge business units on the ground floor.
In the next 20 years, Luton will undergo a significant £1.2 billion investment programme, and bringing this building back to life is a crucial component of that renewal, according to Ben Coleman, development director of LEOS International. In order to bring this important town centre building back to life and ensure that it embraces a blend of Luton’s history and the vibrant, ever-changing culture of the modern day, we have worked closely with the local administration and local stakeholders.
Cresta House, situated in the heart of the town next to St. George’s Square, underwent a complete internal development that began in January 2021.
The Old Courthouse is about 0.4 miles from Luton Railway Station and 15 minutes by rail from Luton Airport.
