LEOS International has submitted a planning application for three high-quality penthouses as part of the company’s rejuvenation of an old office building on Cobham High Street.
This application follows the recent approval for the creation of 10 apartments in the building.
LEOS are converting the two top floors of the building into residential space whilst maintaining retail space on the ground floor.
The conversion will be high quality and all the residential units will have low energy requirements.
Work is expected to start later this year and will take around 12 months to complete.
“Whilst the scheme is reasonably modest, it importantly represents the ethos of LEOS in that together the applications optimise the potential of the site in a sympathetic manner,” said LEOS’ planning director Chris Pittock.
“At LEOS we seek to carefully balance the opportunities presented by various sites, ensuring they are fully maximised whilst creating developments that are appropriate to the local built environment and respectful of existing residents,” he added.
