Starting in December 2021, we met ward councillors and key stakeholders and kicked off with our presence online.
In February 2022, we held a drop-in event for adjacent neighbours, followed in March with further stakeholder meetings.
In April, we launched our main website and invited around 1200 local households and businesses to give their comments in a wide-ranging online workshop survey, garnered 187 responses.
In May, we held three online events using a system called communityUK–used to increase accessibility, participation and interactivity.
We are now holding two follow-up communityUK events before submitting the application.
We’ve always welcomed residents to get in touch by freephone, freepost and email, and held meetings with residents where asked. Including the April letter, we’ve sent three letters to residents and a postcard to adjacent neighbours in February.
We’ve also kept in touch with reminder emails to residents for events and to encourage response.
